Our personal styling suite provides a relaxed and intimate environment to explore the Whistles Wedding collection, creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for you and your bridal party.
We offer an hour-long private appointment with our stylist in a dedicated space at our London flagships, St. Christopher’s Place and Covent Garden. Whilst inviting you to try on our exclusive collection, our in-house stylist will highlight the luxurious fabrications and intricate detailing of our dresses. Of course, we want to make you feel at ease about your big day through our tailored appointments, so there’s also the opportunity to talk through our Bridesmaid Collection and alteration services to ensure your dress is perfect.

What can brides expert from the personal styling service at WHISTLES? How do you guide them in searching for the right dress?
At Whistles, we have a spot-on team and always bring something different to each of our brides. We keep ourselves organised as sometimes we make up to eight bridal appointments daily. We find out when the wedding will be, in case of alterations, and we give them space to explore initially. We often get brides coming in alone to do that first session of discovering what they want to try on, who will then come back later with bridesmaids and family once they have more of an idea in mind.
What is your favourite piece from the Whistles Wedding Collection?
The Lina Satin Dress is just exquisite, with the 30s feel to it. It’s designed with straps at the back and is simple but catches the light beautifully. The Ellis Strapless Wedding Dress is also a highlight, with a statement bow set across the back. Some brides who don’t want to expose their arms and shoulders have had this altered to drape the organza fabric over their shoulders, which is unique.
What have you learnt about personal styling for brides along the way? How is it different from your usual personal styling appointments?
So much. We have people of all ages coming in. For some more senior customers, this might not be their first wedding and they may not want a traditional dress, so a jumpsuit or tailoring is more what they’re looking for. It’s all about trying to understand them personally and what they’re looking for and asking lots of questions as well as guiding them out of their comfort zone too.
