A quiet confidence remains untouched in Whistles Wedding. For 2024, a selection of modern dresses and perennially chic tailoring have been thoughtfully designed with couture-inspired details. Whilst there is a sense of familiarity by way of premium silks and delicate trims, this is a collection that offers a sense of freedom and energy that speaks to the brides of today. Preconceived ideas of the classic wedding gown are rendered with a contemporary Whistles spin, making them feel just as unique as those who choose to say ‘I do’ in them.
Named after romantic heroines (think Lina in Singin’ In The Rain and Loretta from Moonstruck), the collection curates returning favourites alongside five new styles destined for cult status. “An air of romance revolves around Whistles Wedding 2024; contemporary, pared-back silhouettes are enhanced with subtle feminine detailing and are designed to inspire confidence in the wearer,” explains Gemma Hyde, Head of Design at Whistles, of the thinking behind our new season collection. “Nostalgia is woven throughout, with a nod to the ’90s; think minimal clean lines, svelte silhouettes, a draped soft cowl detail, raised necks with plunging, exposed backs and figure-skimming bias cuts; all designed to make a grand entrance to your big day.”
Whether you’re planning a modern affair in the city, a traditional soirée or perhaps, an intimate gathering this year, each of our wedding styles has been crafted to offer a sartorial extension of yourself.
At Whistles, we understand the importance of a great bridal appointment and the emphasis on finding the right dress for you.
