For our second kidswear collection, clothing speaks of carefree days spent exploring the outdoors or time spent at home. Think playful silhouettes with oversized puffy sleeves, peter pan collars, soft jumbo cord and everyday sequins; designed in lively colours and eye-catching prints to spark little ones’ imagination and allow them to be their most authentic selves. But, above all else, it’s clothing that has been mindfully created to ensure kids feel comfortable during everyday adventures.
“When we came to design the Whistles Kids AW22 collection, we didn’t have to look far for inspiration,” explains Gemma Hyde, Head of Design. “Prints anchoring our womenswear Autumn-Winter collection, alongside a feel-good colour palette, in the form of relaxed silhouettes have been adapted and reworked into playful yet timeless heirloom pieces. We hope parents, and kids, will discover there’s something for everyone in this collection.”
Made for ages 3-9 with the aim of enhancing play, Whistles’ modern kidswear is imbued with the same practical and easy-wearing ethos it has become renowned for. Think playful silhouettes with oversized puffy sleeves, peter pan collars, soft jumbo cord and everyday sequins. All are designed in lively colours and eye-catching prints to spark kids’ imagination and allow them to be their most authentic selves.
Allowing for endless styling opportunities whether your little one wants to wear a sequin dress layered up with a chunky knit or unexpected colour combinations in the form of easy separates, complete with wellies for the park.
As part of our ongoing commitment in becoming a more responsible, socially aware and sustainable brand that is continually evolving, we’ve partnered with GROW, London on our Kids Autumn Winter 2022 campaign.
GROW works with schools and communities delivering bespoke programmes in sustainable food growing and outdoor learning, and our donation to the farm will pay towards ‘GROW Outdoors’, a food growing and wellbeing sessions for young people aged 11-14, who are struggling with the transition from primary to secondary school due to the following areas of need; social, behavioural, SEND, or mental health.
GROW is a newly established charity with ambitious aims. They rely on the support of generous individuals and organisations to continue and expand our work. Find out how you can donate to GROW today.
