In recent seasons, we’ve been rethinking how we create considered, forever clothes that allow us to curate a wardrobe that whispers sophistication and embodies ageless, nonchalant style. In times of uncertainty, and where even the weather feels like it can not make up its mind, something must be said about embracing nostalgia-induced pieces. Yet, while the Pre-Fall Collection has hints of familiarity, there is nothing repetitious about these styles. Nineties’ grunge, a trend that continues to transcend the seasons, roots itself in a lace-trimmed cami and asymmetric-hem skirt, both equally colour-drenched in black. Then there’s the evolution of the racer jacket; unpainted seams and exposed metal hardware lend a distressed look to the Kate Burnished Leather Jacket. Lastly, there is 2024’s answer to the Canadian tuxedo.
